Card Redemption Process

At Phygitals, redeeming your cards is simple and secure. Once your cards are vaulted, they can be easily redeemed directly from your Phygitals collection. Every card on Phygitals can be redeemed for its physical counterpart. After submitting your redemption request, you’ll be required to pay for shipping & handling fees, and any applicable taxes or duties.

Sealed Product Redemption Process

When redeeming a sealed product, users will be required to pay a flat shipping fee. As with card redemptions, users are also responsible for any applicable customs, duties, VAT, or import taxes. Please be aware of the costs and fees associated with international shipping, as well as the regulations in your country. Shipping times may vary depending on your location.

Product Sourcing and Shipping Locations

We make every effort to source sealed products as locally as possible to minimize extra fees for our users. For example, if you're redeeming a sealed product in the Netherlands, we will prioritize shipping from within the Netherlands to avoid additional costs. However, if local sourcing isn't available, we may send the sealed product from Phygitals HQ in North America. In this case, additional shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes may apply.

Shipping Fees and Taxes

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery location.

• U.S. Withdrawals: approx. $5.99 per shipment (covers up to 50 items)

• Canada Withdrawals: approx. $24.99 per shipment

• Other International Withdrawals: approx. $31.99 per shipment

International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes. Please be aware of costs and fees associated with international shipping and customs regulations.

Redemption Timeline and Expedited Shipping

Shipping times vary depending on your location. In the U.S., shipments typically arrive within 3–5 business days of processing, while international orders may take longer due to customs procedures.

Physical vs. Digital Ownership

While your card’s digital twin is active in your collection, the physical card remains securely stored in our vault. If you decide to redeem your physical card, the digital version will be deactivated. This ensures that each asset exists either physically with you or digitally on the Phygitals platform, but not both at the same time.

Vault Withdrawal Fees

• Items Vaulted for 90+ Days: $1.99 per item OR 0.9% of item value (whichever is greater)

• Items Vaulted for Less Than 90 Days (Early Withdrawal): $4.99 per item OR 1.9% of item value (whichever is greater)

To maintain transparency and efficiency, Phygitals applies the withdrawal fees set by our vault service provider. For cards stored in the vault for more than 90 days, a lower handling fee applies. However, if a card is withdrawn within 90 days of submission, a higher handling fee is charged. These fees cover additional handling and processing costs, ensuring that rapid withdrawals are managed smoothly while maintaining the highest security standards. Cards purchased from users via the Phygitals marketplace may already qualify for the lower handling fee if they have been vaulted for 90+ days. Cards acquired through the claw machine reset the vaulting period and are subject to the higher handling fee until 90 days have passed.
