Card Listing Guidelines

Rules and guidelines for listing collectible cards on the Phygitals marketplace, including pricing, authenticity requirements, prohibited listings, and enforcement.

Overview

The Phygitals marketplace enables peer-to-peer trading of digital collectible cards backed by real physical cards in vault storage. To maintain a trustworthy, fair, and transparent trading environment, all marketplace listings must comply with these guidelines.

By listing a card on the marketplace, you agree to these guidelines in addition to the Terms of Service and Marketplace Guidelines.

Listing Requirements

To list a card on the Phygitals marketplace, the following requirements must be met:

  • Authenticated account: You must have a fully registered and authenticated Phygitals account. Guest accounts cannot create marketplace listings.

  • Card ownership: You must own the digital collectible representing the card in your wallet. You cannot list cards you do not own.

  • Card in vault custody: The corresponding physical card must be in active vault custody with one of our professional vault partners. Cards that are in transit, pending claim, or otherwise not in vault custody cannot be listed.

  • Not encumbered: The card must not be subject to any active pawn loan, pending claim, active Pack Party, or other encumbrance that prevents transfer.

  • Good standing: Your account must be in good standing with no active violations or restrictions.

Pricing Guidelines

Sellers are free to set their own asking prices for cards listed on the marketplace. However, the following guidelines apply:

  • Fair Market Value (FMV) reference: Each card displays an FMV sourced from industry-standard pricing providers. FMV is provided as a reference point and does not restrict your pricing. You may list above or below FMV.

  • No price manipulation: You must not engage in artificial price manipulation, including wash trading (buying and selling between your own accounts), coordinated trading to inflate or deflate prices, or shill bidding on your own listings.

  • Honest representation: Your listing price should reflect a genuine willingness to sell at that price. Listings with unreasonable prices created solely to manipulate market data or FMV calculations may be removed.

  • Currency: All marketplace prices are denominated in USD and settled in USDC/USDT.

Marketplace Fees

Phygitals charges a marketplace fee on completed transactions. Fee details:

  • Seller fee: A percentage-based fee is deducted from the sale price and retained by the platform. The current fee rate is displayed at the time of listing and at the point of sale.

  • No listing fee: Creating a listing is free. Fees are only charged upon a completed sale.

  • Fee transparency: The exact fee amount and your net proceeds are displayed before you confirm a listing and before a sale is finalized.

  • Fee changes: Phygitals reserves the right to modify marketplace fee rates. Changes to fees will be communicated through the platform and will not apply retroactively to existing active listings.

Prohibited Listings

The following types of listings are strictly prohibited on the Phygitals marketplace:

  • Counterfeit or fraudulent cards: Listings for cards that are not genuine, have been tampered with, or have falsified grading information;

  • Stolen goods: Listings for cards obtained through theft, fraud, unauthorized access, or any other illegal means;

  • Misrepresented items: Listings with intentionally false or misleading descriptions, images, grades, or attributes;

  • Cards not in custody: Attempting to list a card whose physical counterpart is not currently held in Phygitals vault custody;

  • Encumbered cards: Listing cards that are subject to active pawn loans, pending claims, or other restrictions;

  • Duplicate listings: Creating multiple simultaneous listings for the same card;

  • Off-platform transactions: Using listings to facilitate transactions outside the Phygitals platform to avoid marketplace fees or protections.

Authenticity & Grading

All cards listed on the Phygitals marketplace have been:

  • Authenticated by professional grading services or through Phygitals' intake process;

  • Photographed with high-resolution images showing the actual physical card;

  • Catalogued with accurate metadata including set, card number, grade, grading service, and other relevant attributes.

The integrity of this information is maintained by the platform. Sellers cannot modify the grading, authentication, or cataloguing data associated with a card. If you believe any card metadata is inaccurate, contact our support team for investigation.

Offers & Bids

In addition to fixed-price listings, the marketplace supports offers and bids. The following rules apply:

  • Binding offers: When you make an offer on a card, you are committing to purchase at the offered price if the seller accepts. Do not make offers you do not intend to honor.

  • Offer cancellation: You may cancel an unaccepted offer at any time before the seller accepts it.

  • Acceptance: When a seller accepts your offer, the transaction is executed and is final.

  • No shill bidding: Making offers on your own listings, or coordinating with others to place artificial offers, is prohibited.

Enforcement

Phygitals actively monitors the marketplace for violations of these guidelines. Enforcement actions may include:

  • Listing removal: Listings that violate these guidelines may be removed without notice;

  • Warnings: First-time or minor violations may result in a warning and an opportunity to correct the issue;

  • Marketplace restriction: Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent restriction from marketplace activities;

  • Account suspension or termination: Serious violations (fraud, counterfeiting, wash trading) may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination;

  • Reporting: Fraud and criminal activity may be reported to applicable law enforcement authorities.

If you believe a listing violates these guidelines, please report it through the platform's reporting feature or contact us at [email protected]envelope.
