How It Works

The Phygitals platform operates on a simple principle: every digital card is a real card.

• Physically backed - Every card listed on the platform corresponds to a real, professionally graded trading card (PSA, CGC, Beckett, etc.) securely held in our vault network.

• Digital ownership - When you own a card on Phygitals, you hold verifiable digital ownership of that specific physical card. Your ownership is recorded and secured on-chain.

• Instant trading - Buy, sell, and trade cards instantly on the marketplace without waiting for physical shipping. Transactions settle in seconds.

• Physical redemption - At any time, you can claim your physical card and have it shipped directly to you. Once redeemed, the digital representation is retired.

Core Features

Phygitals offers a comprehensive set of features for collectors and traders:

• Pack openings - Purchase and open digital packs containing randomized selections of graded trading cards. All pack outcomes are determined by a provably fair cryptographic algorithm.

• Pack Parties - Multiplayer pack opening events where users open packs together in a shared, interactive experience with group rewards.

• Marketplace - A peer-to-peer marketplace where users can list, buy, and sell individual cards at prices they set.

• Buyback system - Instant liquidity on cards pulled from packs. Sell cards back to the platform at a percentage of their fair market value immediately after pulling them.

• Vault & storage - All physical cards are stored in professionally managed, insured vault facilities. Your cards are safe and accessible at all times.

• Pawn & lending - Borrow against the fair market value of your vaulted cards for short-term liquidity without selling.

• Card submission - Submit your own physical cards to the Phygitals vault to digitize and trade them on the platform.

• Provable fairness - Every pack opening uses a cryptographic commit-reveal scheme that allows users to independently verify the integrity and randomness of their results.
